Founder's Welcome Speech
Mrs. Abosede Christiana Yusuf Bello
Dear Parents & Guardians,
Welcome to Danbo International School’s website where we hope to show you every reason to entrust us with the responsibility of educating your child. Danbo International Schools was founded as a personal necessity; a necessity formed out of love. In 1981, it was a challenge to find quality education for my children, and as a parent, nothing drives one more than the best we wish for our children. On this personal journey, I found my calling and passion, the quest to provide all children with the best. The best that would equip and arm them with the right skills, experience and knowledge for a successful future.
Education forms the basis of our school’s mantra, High Achievement for All. Providing a holistic education where children evolve as individuals who are self-motivated and creative, who can think, question and reason out logically. Individuals who are independent, confident and leaders capable of making decisions. I believe Education is an important process that leads to the attainment of the full potential of every child, leaving no one behind.
In the last 43 years, Danbo International School has grown – from a 15 student class with 6 teachers – to a school with a capacity of over 1,200 students and modern facilities employing hundreds of teachers and support staff. We now have a new cosy branch located in Jabi Abuja and we are very excited about the prospects this new branch holds.
Over the years, we are fortunate to have had a great team of dedicated educators, and a reliable team of operations and administrative staff providing the most valuable support. I am most grateful to all the parents who have entrusted their children’s education to Danbo International School.
The school started merely from personal necessity, a passion to lend support to every student in need. Now it is well into its mission and commitment to providing top-class Education to students from all walks of life.
I ascribe to the old saying that “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today. – Malcolm X”
We have a long way to go, so join Danbo International Schools and let us support each other in nurturing our next generation for a better future.
