BADGING CEREMONY FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC YEAR
Danbo International College hosted its esteemed Prefect-ship Badging Ceremony to officially induct the newly appointed student leaders for the 2025/2026 academic session. The event, held in the school auditorium, was a moment of pride and reflection, as students, parents, and staff came together to witness the next generation of leaders take their oath of office.
Dressed smartly in their uniforms, the newly selected prefects stepped forward with confidence and humility as they were individually badged by their invited Parents. The ceremony was graced by proud parents and guardians, who looked on with joy as their children pledged to uphold the values of integrity, responsibility, and service.
The high point of the ceremony was the swearing-in and oath of office, where each prefect solemnly committed to serve the student body with fairness, diligence, and respect. Positions badged included Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Prefects, Social Prefect, Labour Prefects, and other key roles vital to student governance and the smooth running of the school.
In his address, the school principal congratulated the newly badged prefects and reminded them of the weight of leadership, emphasizing that true leaders lead by example, not by authority. He encouraged them to use their positions to build a more inclusive, respectful, and disciplined school environment.
The ceremony ended with group photographs and light refreshments, marking not just the beginning of a leadership journey for the prefects, but also a celebration of trust, responsibility, and the school’s commitment to raising future leaders.
